Questions for Cove Screen

Is our minimum quantity per order 1200 prints, or is it possible to do less?  Yes, it is possible to do less than 1200 prints per design but the price would increase by 25%.  

Does this minimum need to be the same print design, or can we have design, color, or location changes within that minimum quantity?
Minimum applies to same design, however you could have different shirt colors and or different locations ( front or back prints ).  

What options do we have for placing orders or sending artwork?  Can we send orders or art either online (website), or e-mail?
You may use FTP sites or email. 

Do you have an order form you prefer we use?
We will send an example as to how we would like the order form. 

Will we receive e-mailed Order Acknowledgments and Shipment Notifications?
Yes, for both cases. 

Will we receive e-mailed artwork proofs (to scale and showing colors to be printed)?
Yes, jpegs are sent prior to running production for appovals. 

Can we get Product Proofs (an actual garment printed as specified on our order?
Yes. 

What is the cost and lead time to receive this after placing the order?

 Only cost of blank, and we would request your fedex or ups account number for shipping samples. 

What is the normal production time after final approvals and how does this vary for larger orders (50,000 to 100,000 or more)?
We have an installed capacity of  250,000 units per week, thus volume would depend on the percent capacity that you request with a 10 day cycle time from date that we receive your blanks and artwork to delivery at customs brokers warehouse in Laredo. 

How will we receive Invoices and what are our payment options?
We invoice the day that we ship with net 15 days payment terms. 

 If it is best to wire the funds, is there anything we should know about sending money to your company or bank by wire transfer?
Yes, wire transer is the best option, and we will send banking wire instructions by separate email. 

What is the maximum normal imprint area and what size is a “Jumbo Print”?Normal maximum print area is 18”x21” anything above this would be considered a “jumbo print”. Our Jumbo print limitations are 21”x28”.

Can you explain and send us a visual example by e-mail of the Re-Labeling options given (under shoulder tape, cut and sew on top, Just S/N sew on top)? 
Yes, examples will be sent in sample box (labeled accordingly).

Also, is it possible to have labels PRINTED on the inside back nape in the normal label location (as a direct screen print or heat transfer) for “tag-less t-shirts”?
Yes, but we only do printed labels, no heat transfer. 

Can you explain and send us a visual example by e-mail of the Packing options (Assorted Packed, Solid Packed, Printers Fold)?
We will send jpegs for your refrence. 

Can you explain and send us a visual example by e-mail of your Reflective Ink and Flock printing and show what is included under “Special Effects”?We will send jpegs of reflective and flock, and we will send examples of various special effects currently in stock, (special effects include: high density, puff, glitter, sugar glitter, glow in the dark, suede,etc.). 

Explain the Set-Up Charge of $400.00.  What does this cover?
This covers artwork seperation, film output, and labor. 

 Do you not have screen or film charges?
This is included in setup charge.

What about under base or Flash Charges?
No flash charge and underbase is considered as one more color.

Is there a difference in set-up cost for spot and four color process printing? No 

It is our understanding that you can also package shirts individually in poly bags, attach barcode stickers, and attach retail tags.  Can you explain your capabilities in this regard, and the costs/time frame associated with each? These services are included in our packaging fee of $0,09 for solid packed and $0,12 for assorted packed. We also pack inside cans, and form t-shirt/cap bundles and on PDQ floor displays (cost depends on specific characteristics). 

What format do you prefer we send you artwork in for quickest processing? In Adobe Illustrator (vector art) or Photoshop (high resolution images, 300dpi). 

What other art formats can you accept and work with, and what Art Fees will be charged to clean up artwork or prepare final artwork for printing?
We have worked in the past with Freehand, but we prefer the above. No extra charges apply for this service. 

What special Graphic Design abilities do you offer?
Color seperations. 

For instance, do you have any artists on staff specializing in doing “Edgy” or modern design styles like what is popular in urban areas of the US?
Our artist only design within the parameters of our customers licenses.

Would you be able to produce really good designs for the Fitness/Bodybuilding industry in a short time frame to meet urgent last minute requests?
We could seek freelance artists to develop the art that you mention and woul charge you at actual cost.

Can you give us an idea how many t-shirts or cases of 72 can fit on a semi-trailer?
In a floor loaded 45 foot trailer 61,200 units /palletized 23,000 units.

Is freight always palletized, especially if sending a full trailer to one location?
Depending on customers request. 

What is the maximum pallet length, width, and height?
48”x40”x65” 

Do we have more than one option for shipping carriers to bring our orders to the US?
Yes, but recommend Hepeca Logistics freight company. 

Can the freight carrier also take the order all the way to our client’s location in the US after clearing customs?
Hepeca arranges for freight forwarding from Laredo to final destination. 

What tracking options will we have for tracing our orders and determining arrival date/time once they leave your facility?
From our Queretaro facility to Laredo it takes a maximum of 48hours, and from our Sabinas facility it only takes 12hours. 

We need to get an idea of freight costs from Cove Screen to Laredo, TX (maybe per pallet and per full trailer?)
Queretaro-Laredo = $900 USD 45 foot trailer. Sabinas-Laredo = $550 USD 45 foot trailer. 

It would also be helpful to have a contact we can communicate with for quotes on freight costs from Laredo to our client location (final destination of goods).

¿Se pueden lavar con cloro las playeras estampadas?

No es conveniente utilizar cloro puesto que afectará los colores de la playera, mas no del estampado.

¿Se pueden planchas las playeras estampadas?

Si, si se pueden planchar, pero con la prenda al revés y con plancha tibia, nunca se deberá planchar directamente el estampado
